One of my three goats developed a lice infestation. I did a little research and found directions from Little Avalon for treating by dusting with elemental sulfur powder. I dusted all 3 goats with the powder from Little Avalon (I only saw lice on the one goat, but figured they were all at risk). After 3 powderings several days apart, the lice were gone, the goat’s skin is looking great (she had scaly dandruff and hair loss), and she clearly feels much better! And I didn’t have to use any heavy-duty insecticides.
I’m now ordering the starter mineral buffet, because I’ve had them on a mixed loose mineral supplement and the goat that had the lice problem consumes much less of it than the other 2 goats. Hoping she will get what she needs if she can choose for herself!

Really wish I could reply to your reply to my review, so things would be easier for people to follow. Especially since my experience is relevant in light of your reply. I had asked a question about the minerals and you replied to me. However, the impression I got from the reply is that you didn't understand what I was asking. I replied with further clarification on what I was asking and looking for help on. Again, the reply I received didn't seem to understand what I was asking. The reply seemed to be to a different question, not what I was asking. The entire interaction gave me the impression that the person I was talking to didn't understand what I was asking and is not at all familiar with livestock nutrition. Which is why I took the mention of the Facebook group as the person I was talking to hoping that I'd find the answer there, since they clearly didn't understand at all what I was asking. Eventually I was able to figure the answer out myself, but I really should not have had to. A merchant should fully understand what they are selling. Again, I know full well the challenges of running a small business...been there done that...and handling matters of customer service. Not feeling like I can trust the seller's knowledge, and being confronted with the lack there of, really doesn't inspire any confidence in them. Even if the prices of larger sizes were actually reasonable, the lack of knowledge and customer service would be enough of a reason to not be a repeat customer.
If you wish to be able to reply to replies, you might be more satisfied with email or messaging correspondence. I would be more than happy to address your questions and concerns that way if you prefer. I handle each customer service inquiry with diligence, as it is truly my wish to adequately answer everyone, every single time. If an answer I provide doesn't satisfy you, please reply with further, follow-up questions in case I misunderstood your initial concerns.
